N° 04 · Cabinet Refinishing

A factory-grade finish — sprayed in your own kitchen.

Doors, drawer fronts and frames removed, sanded, primed, and finished in a controlled spray booth. The result reads like cabinetry, not a coat of paint.

Refined over 25 years across Halton. No shortcuts.

Full Methodology
  1. 01

    Assessment & Quote

On-site, we count doors and drawers, inspect material (MDF, oak, maple, etc.), and write a per-piece quote with colour samples.

  2. 02

    Removal & Prep

Doors removed and tagged. Boxes masked. Surfaces de-greased, sanded, vacuumed and tack-clothed.

  3. 03

    Spray-Booth Finish

Bonding primer + 2 coats of cabinet enamel, sanded between coats. Cured 24-48 hours before re-install.

  4. 04

    Re-Install & Hardware

Doors and drawers re-hung, hardware reinstalled or upgraded, soft-close hinges checked. Walk-through together.

Cabinet FAQ

Common questions.

Yes — oak, maple, MDF, melamine. Each requires a slightly different prep and primer. We spec accordingly.
When properly prepped and sprayed with cabinet-grade enamel, it lasts 10+ years and stands up to scrubbing, water, and daily use.
Mostly yes. Doors are off for 3-5 days while in the booth. Boxes and counters remain accessible.
Not when properly prepped and applied. Bonding primer + 2 coats of true cabinet enamel is the difference between a $200 weekend project and a finish that lasts.
